I provide psychotherapy and counselling to adolescents and adults. I like to describe my therapeutic practice as holistic, integrated, and embodied. I operate from an anti-oppressive lens, using intersectional and harm reduction frameworks to help reveal client's strengths. I draw from attachment and body-based approaches to trauma and stress, mindfulness-based approaches, and narrative therapies. Depending on client interests, I also offer movement and arts-based approaches.
I am LGBT2SQIA+ and trauma informed, and part of my role is working with those who identify as a sexual or gender minority.
I believe that every person is worthy of living a safe, authentic, and fulfilling life. I work collaboratively with clients to explore and process past and current lived experiences that include: early childhood and attachment trauma; combat trauma; intergenerational trauma; grief and loss; gender and sexuality; relationship concerns (including non-monogamy); life transitions; substance use; body image and self-esteem; and, anxiety and depression.
